Broken Genius’s Farewell

Liam Ford's benefactor, before dying, asked him to marry the woman who became his wife. Liam gave up his work in scientific research, married her, and they had a daughter. They lived together for fifteen years. Then his wife's first love, a rich man, came back from abroad. She sided with him whenever he and Liam clashed, and the daughter took to him over her father. The man humiliated Liam in front of the family and neither the wife nor the daughter stepped in. Liam watched how close the two had become and decided to take a post at the Southwest Chip Research Institute. He wrote a farewell letter, signed the divorce papers, left both at the house, and went to the institute.
