His Majesty Returns

Rosalind wants a divorce, and the two children are on her side. Reginald has lived in her house as an ordinary man for more than ten years. He is in fact the emperor, and he set the throne aside and hid who he was in order to marry her. Rosalind has been sleeping with a friend from her childhood, and has had pictures made of the two of them together that leave nothing out. The children know, and they push their father to sign. He signs. Then he goes back to the palace, takes up the throne again, and lets it be known who he is. Rosalind loses the position she held. She takes the announcement for a fraud, and the lover keeps telling her so. Reginald has the man's dealings looked into and makes what he finds public. Rosalind then goes to Princess Isolde, of another kingdom, hoping to use her against Reginald. He produces the imperial seal in front of them.
