The Fallen Heiress's Return

George has been seeing someone else, and at his own birthday party the guests treat his girlfriend as the poor one who attached herself to him. She asks him to answer for it and the room sides with him, and the insults start. The girlfriend is Lilith. She grew up an orphan and she runs the Black Lion, and she had come to the party to propose to George and finally tell him what she does. She says none of it while they are laughing at her. A man comes into the middle of the argument and tells her he is her father, which makes her the missing heir of a house everyone at the party knows by name. Alliances among the guests break apart as they take in who she is.
