Synopsis

The man Nora Lane is due to marry puts something in her drink, and she spends the night with the richest man in Northbridge, a Grant. He has been sleeping with the older Mrs. Grant, stepmother to the man Nora wakes up beside. Nora finds the two of them together the next morning, and he presses her to end things with him. She is pregnant by then. Mrs. Grant moves against the pregnancy and the younger Grant reaches Nora in time. Mrs. Grant is working toward control of the family estate, and she is carrying a child of her own.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
