Accident? Her Cinderella Story!

The old woman with dementia that Julia Lynn takes in has been missing from the Ferns household. She is Xavier Ferns' mother, and neither of them knows it. Xavier does not know about Lucas either. Julia met Xavier six years ago while she was living in the countryside and the two of them got each other through a bad time. Lucas was born after that. She brings the boy into the city, and on the way in she is knocked down by Xavier's car. She says she is not hurt and gets away from the scene to stay out of her adoptive mother's sight, keeping the card she was handed. The old woman comes home with her the same day and the three of them keep house together. Julia collapses later on. The treatment has to be paid for, so Lucas takes the old woman to the address on the card and goes into the Ferns Group building to ask the man who was driving for the money. At a banquet after that, Xavier tells the room who Julia and Lucas are, with the Lynn relatives who had looked down on them standing there.
