The Guest Who Brought Snakes

Shen Man owns the penthouse. Lin Xiaoxiao is broke, so Shen Man tells her she can stay, and Lin Xiaoxiao tells other people she is paying rent. She also moves her boyfriend in without asking. Between them they wreck the furniture, let a snake loose in the apartment, and start posting online that Shen Man is a bully trying to force a friend out of her own home. The story travels. Shen Man answers it by producing the property deed and the security camera footage, which shows exactly who broke what, and the two of them are put out. Lin Xiaoxiao is not finished. At a housewarming party she drugs Shen Man's drink meaning to set her up in front of witnesses, and is caught doing it. After that nobody in her circle will have anything to do with her, she and the boyfriend blame each other and fall apart, and she takes work as a cleaner. Some time later she is on her knees outside Shen Man's new house asking to be forgiven, and Shen Man tells the staff to take her out.
