They Mocked Mom. Now They Beg!

Eleanor is a medical specialist with a national reputation who retired from practice and moved into her son's house. She runs the household there and does the cooking and the cleaning. The son and the rest of the family treat her as domestic help and say so to her face. On the day of her birthday the household holds a party for the family dog. Her own birthday goes unmentioned by everyone present. She stops after that. Eleanor is godmother to three men who run large companies. The son's family learns about the three of them afterwards, and begins trying to bring her back into the house and to be forgiven for how she was treated.
