Yale Cooper was known as the Ruthless Dragon before his daughter was born. He left that behind, and for eighteen years he ran a repair shop and stayed with his wife and daughter. Nina did well at school. On the night of her eighteenth birthday a classmate set her up, and a man she knew from school humiliated her. She told her parents the injury had been an accident and kept the rest to herself. The same man wrecked his car later that night and brought it to Yale's shop for the repair. He picked a fight in the shop. Yale, who had kept out of trouble for eighteen years, handled him the way the Ruthless Dragon would have.
