Step Aside, I Am the True Rap King

In an underground rap club, a stuttering janitor named Zero mops floors and stays out of sight. He is Zane, once called the Rap King, thrown from a skyscraper by his wife and his own protégé and left for dead. He survives, loses his voice to a stutter, and takes the club job under a new name. Chloe is the one who pulled him out and never asked who he used to be. When a corporation sets its sights on the club and on Chloe, Zero can't stay invisible anymore. He starts entering the rap battles again, first in the club's back room, then in bigger rooms with bigger crowds. Each round puts him closer to the people who took his life from him, his wife and his protégé among them, and closer to Madison Square Garden, where the finals are held and where he means to take his name back.
