Buried Alive With Cheating Husband

Song Qingci is the daughter of the Protector General. She walks in on her husband Zhao Jinglou with the Grand Princess Xiao Lingyi and learns from their own talk that the two of them arranged her father's death and pinned it on an enemy state. At the funeral hall she finds she can hear what people are thinking without their saying it, and standing beside her father's coffin she hears the pair of them inside it. She keeps her face still through the rites and lets the household believe she is only grieving. Working with officials who owed her father and with people inside the court, she arranges the funeral so that the coffin will be closed and sealed at a particular moment, with both of them still in it. What follows reaches the Empress, whose position depends on the Princess, and the whole Zhao family, whose standing depends on Zhao Jinglou. Song Qingci means to carry her father's ashes back to his own country and never return to the capital.
