Return of the Grand Princess

The head of the Mystery Pavilion lives quietly in the city of Quario with her husband, and nobody there knows she is the first princess of Danria. She was taken as a child while shielding the emperor, her father, from an attack, and a hermit master saved her. Fifteen years have passed since then. The emperor comes to Quario in disguise to look into corruption. He meets her without learning who she is, is struck by her kindness, and on the strength of it names her husband top scholar. At the banquet given for the new top scholar the husband announces that he is casting her off to marry another woman. She leaves him and goes back to the palace, where she begins helping the emperor with affairs of state. A hostage held from a foreign court starts seeking her out there.
