Flash Marriage with My Werewolf Husband

Lisa married her boss on short acquaintance, days into the job at his New York law firm, and she has not told him why she came to the city. She left home to get out of the reach of a stepfather who abused her, and she took the offer partly because it put her near the werewolf that attacked her years earlier, whom she means to see charged and tried. She keeps the firm's hours and works the werewolf case in whatever is left over. Her husband notices the time she cannot account for and begins checking on her, then asking her directly. She wants him, which she had not counted on, and every answer she gives him has to keep the rest of it out.
