Synopsis

Vera is backstage at the drama club when Shang Jiani and her group corner her. Shang Jiani leads them and has decided Vera is hers to work on. They hold Vera down against the makeup table. Shang Jiani has a Mockingjay badge with her and has heated the metal. She presses it into Vera's leg and holds it there. The burn sets into a scar in the shape of the badge, in a place Vera cannot cover without thinking about it, which is the point of putting it there.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
