Flesh to Throne

The Mad Emperor holds the throne, and one order from him is enough to have a whole family put to death. He gives that order against the Simons family so that he can have Jade Sanders for himself. Jade and Forrest Simons had been together since childhood. On the day the Simons household is wiped out, Jade is taken into the palace and made a consort. Forrest breaks a jade pendant with his blade and swears that Jade will pay for it in blood. The emperor's scheming has left him convinced that she betrayed him. Seven years pass. Forrest has become the leader of a rebel army and marches on the palace. The emperor has spent the same seven years on a throne of jade. He is waiting for Forrest to break into the palace and take a seat on it.
