A Mother In A Maid's Uniform

Chen Mingyue's family marries her off to the village bully. She has by then already had a daughter with Qin Shi, the boy she grew up with in the village, and her family, which wanted sons, has split the two of them up to make the marriage happen. Qin Shi has just found out who his own people are when he comes back and walks in on the wedding. He takes it as a betrayal. On the road afterwards he picks up a lost baby girl, names her Qin Shuyi, and raises her alone. The baby is his daughter. Eighteen years later Mingyue takes a job as a nanny in the Qin household so she can look for her child. She sees the birthmark on Qin Shuyi's arm and knows. She says nothing, because she cannot think of herself as someone with a right to claim the girl. The housekeeper, Xiaoyu, and her brother set up a fake Qin daughter to get at the family's money, and they push Mingyue to the edge. There is an attack, and in the chaos Mingyue ends up in a coma. Qin Shi comes across an old love letter of hers hidden inside a pen.
