Isabel works as an assistant to Lorenzo Bellini, the chief executive of the company she joined a year ago. He has just come back from abroad, and she has the feeling that she has seen him somewhere before without being able to say where. They are together every working day, and he begins to feel something for her. Isabel is married, and she has not seen her husband since the day they collected the marriage certificate. Her grandmother arranged the match on the day Isabel started at the company. The husband, Jared, was a man she had met once, and he disappeared as soon as the certificate was in hand. Now Jared turns up again and asks for a divorce, and a series of surprises keeps it from going through. Lorenzo is also working on a divorce. When he reaches the courthouse the person waiting at the entrance is Isabel, and he learns that the assistant he has been working beside is the woman he married a year ago.
