Now You Know Who I Am

Elena wants to sit on the board of the Cooper Group as what she is, its chair. Five years ago she handed the company to her husband Dalton and stepped out of the day-to-day. When she returns after those five years, nobody in the building knows her face. She walks into an office that runs on gossip, bullying and rumor, where much of the staff assume Dalton's wife is some old hag who stopped mattering long ago. Elena takes her seat anyway. Dalton's secretary Flora has tried more than once to seduce him and has got nowhere. She sees Dalton and Elena being affectionate with each other and decides Elena is his mistress. Soon after that she learns Elena is pregnant. Flora wants the mistress's place for herself, so she sets about humiliating Elena, isolating her from everyone in the office, and pushing her out of the company.
