How to Kiss a Vampire

A masked man with wings catches Ella after someone pushes her off a roof. She wakes up with Vincent sitting next to her, and he tells her he was not the man who caught her. Vincent left Ella eight years ago without saying anything, and she has been raising a child by herself since then. He tells her his enemies were the ones who came for her and that they know who she is now. He wants her in his house where he can keep watch over her, and he puts it to her as a requirement rather than an offer. Around him she notices things that do not fit a human being, and he goes on denying the mask.
