The One I Never Forget

Sofia comes back to Los Angeles with a name as a journalist, and Justin, who she has not seen in five years, is a baseball star in the same city. Going back to each other is the one thing neither of them can do. Five years earlier a tragedy killed people close to both of them and forced them apart, and Doris lied to keep the separation in place. Sofia lost the pregnancy and Justin was badly injured, and neither of them was told the whole of it. When they meet again Sofia tells him she is married, which she is not, and Justin has spent the five years believing she left him for money. Doris goes on standing in their way and Esther works schemes of her own, one of which goes as far as planning a killing. Justin starts going back through the past five years to work out what actually happened.
