Pretty Baby

Mitch is the pimp Rosy Dolores works for, and he keeps her in place with threats. Rosy Dolores is the name she took in order to get by. Her daughter was taken from her at birth, and she has been paying people to look for the girl ever since. Tad Williams, a widowed billionaire with a young daughter, offers Rosy a hundred thousand dollars to pose as his fiancée. She takes the deal for the money, which goes almost straight to a detective who pockets the fee and turns up nothing. Tad's daughter, Lily, was adopted. She is the child Rosy has been looking for, and neither of them knows it. The engagement puts Rosy in front of Tad's circle, where people know what she does for a living and say so to her face. Tess is an heiress who wants Tad at any cost and sees Rosy as the thing standing between them. A birthmark is what could settle the question of who Lily's mother is.
