From Ashes To Us

Cindy and Jackson were together in college. During a break she appeared to cheat on him, and they separated. What actually happened was that she was pregnant and hid it, because she thought telling him would cost him his future. She raised their son Noah on her own for the next eight years. A fire breaks out at a hospital. Jackson, now a fire captain, goes in for a nurse trapped inside, and the nurse is Cindy. Noah does not know who his father is. Jackson starts acting like one anyway, and Cindy's account of the college break is close to coming out. In the way of it are a jealous boss, Jackson's mother, and coworkers who make trouble for her.
