Beth Nelson wants to keep her father's company and her own design studio going, and both are in trouble. Her father and stepmother tell her to get more money out of her husband. The marriage was a contract, and the man did not spare her a glance even at the wedding. Beth gets angry, then drunk, and ends up in bed with a man who turns out to be that same husband. He is Nathan Wright, a billionaire who has just come back, and he does not know she is his wife. Beth goes to him for help with the company and the studio.
