Audrey in Full Bloom

Audrey Lorenzo Bloom holds an MBA from Harvard and is in line to become the first female and non-white CEO of BloomCo, the conglomerate her family controls. For years before the appointment she worked inside the company under an alias, taking a job as a Latina cleaning lady and learning how the firm ran from the inside. On the night before the banquet at which she is to be introduced, she learns three things. Her fiancé believes she is an illegal immigrant and has arranged to defraud her and have her deported. The senior executives are organizing a coup to install her white cousin at the head of the company. And Ryder Marlow, who has been her enemy since childhood, turns out to be acting against none of it.
