Tanya Boyle was a boxing champion who fought under a name that was not her own, so nobody knew who she was outside the ring. She quit at the top of her career for love. She married Wesley Thomas in secret and gave up the sport, kept house, deferred to her mother-in-law, and doted on her daughter. She got stomach cancer. While she was ill, Wesley's mother started introducing other women to him and arranging dates. Tanya took it badly but told them she wished them well. She woke up living her life over again.
