Five Years to Find You

Leukemia runs in the Seth family, and Rita Seth's father is the one who decides whether the bone marrow transplant that treats it goes ahead. Rita runs Seth Group. Five years ago she got together with Drake Barton, who worked on a construction site, and they had a daughter, Dana. Her father was against the two of them because of the difference in where they came from. Rita's leukemia came back and her life was in danger. Her father told Drake there would be no transplant unless he left her. Drake agreed to it and went. Rita found out what her father had said and went after Drake. She got there in time to see a car hit him, and she passed out on the street. While she was unconscious her father left Dana at the scene of the accident.
