From Betrayal to Empowerment

For three years the Hall household ran on Candy Johnson. She was an orphan with nobody of her own, engaged to David Hall, and while he was abroad she kept house for his parents and looked after them. He came home with a classmate on his arm and told her the engagement was over. She did not take it quietly.
