Bad Boy Sleeps Next Door

Zane is the boy everyone at school watches, and he and Emma have hated each other for a long time. Emma is the well-behaved one, at least in public. Their parents marry without much warning and the two of them become stepsiblings, neither of them willing. At home the hostility does not settle. It turns into something else, carried in the looks they give each other and the insults they mutter, and neither of them says out loud what it is. Emma is then drawn into the rivalry surrounding a group known as the Big Four, which is dangerous for her. Each new complication and each misunderstanding pushes her and Zane closer together instead of apart, and there are a lot of them.
