Dark Night Starlight: The Stolen Decade

At sixteen, Elena Duvall created the "Tears of the Stars" diamond cut—a design that stunned Paris—only to be committed to an underground sanatorium by her stepmother on the pretext of insanity, where she was legally declared dead for eight years. A decade later, she escaped and, posing as a fragile woman suffering from claustrophobia, infiltrated the mansion of Adrian von Berg, the leader of the "Obsidian Society." Step by step, she exposed her stepsister’s theft of her designs, reclaimed the African "K-Mine" left by her mother, and dismantled an entire network distributing counterfeit goods. Adrian’s attitude toward her shifted from initially wanting to use her as a "blade to pierce the heart of Paris" to being burned by her intensity, captivated by her spirit, and ultimately placing power back into her hands. Her decade of imprisonment culminated in a courtroom victory: her stepmother was sentenced to twelve years in prison, her biological father to eight, and her stepsister to three. She left her mother’s blue diamond necklace at the graveside and amended the ownership deed of the mine to read "Original Holder: Amara Duvall." On a rooftop overlooking Paris, she stood side by side with Adrian.
