Fool No More: X-Ray Vision

Dylan's friend takes the money he had put aside for his own bride price and hands it over so that Dylan can be introduced to a girl and, with luck, married. Some time before this Dylan had courted a woman, and the beating he took for it left him simple-minded. A woman who runs an inn took him in. She bathes and sleeps in front of him without covering up, and in time she comes to care for him. Then Dylan hits his head. The blow brings him the legacy of the Astral Hermit. His mind clears, he has X-Ray Vision, and he finds he knows medicine along with a good many other skills. He starts a new life on the strength of it. Along the way he meets the heiress of a rich family and a doctor.
