Taken

It is New Year's Eve and Avon Lewis is waiting for his daughter. He filed his retirement not long before, after twenty years of missions abroad had left him barely on speaking terms with his wife Emma and with the girl, and the plan was to be home for this one. Then word comes that his daughter has been taken while she was traveling. The kidnappers make sure he hears about it, and they are not careful about how. Avon goes after her alone and out of the country, working the way he worked for two decades. He gets far enough along the trail to bring the group behind the kidnapping into the open.
