Apocalypse Overlord

Four days before the world freezes he is at his own wedding wearing a storage ring that holds a hundred thousand square metres of space. He slaps his wife's parents in front of the guests, tells the room she has been sleeping with another man and that the child is not his, hands her the divorce agreement to sign and leaves. Straight after that he wins five billion in the lottery. He has lived through the freeze before, and that time he spent it hunting food for her and her father's family until her father turned on him and the lot of them finished him off. He buys a villa and turns it into a safe house, with an electric fence and water cannon on the walls and enough stores to sit out the cold. Then the temperature drops and hail with poison in it comes down. His former wife's family run out of food and come for the house, and he beats them off. He takes in a doctor who once saved his life and looks after a girl he had a crush on in high school. People who laughed at him before the cold are kneeling in the snow outside the fence, asking to be let in. By then the house has several women living in it.
