To the 1980s: From Scorned to Cherished

Jessie Zacker owns a hairdressing business and lives on her own money. She wakes up in the 1980s in the body of a woman the whole residential compound calls a public nuisance. The woman's husband is Harkins Lauren, a research scientist. He asked for a divorce more than once and she refused each time. Jessie tells him to go ahead with the divorce. She goes to work and earns money. She keeps the house in order, and the people in the compound begin to earn money by following what she does. When she finally moves to file, Harkins holds on to her, aggrieved, and asks her where he is supposed to find another wife as good as her if they divorce.
