Love in a Fake Marriage

Song Nanqiu and Jiang Yanzhi sign a marriage contract that runs for one year. She takes it to escape her mother, who will not stop pushing her to marry. She is cold and efficient about it and treats the whole thing as a transaction between two people who each need something. One night the police run a routine check at a bar she is in, and Jiang Yanzhi turns up to deal with the matter and finds her there. He takes her home afterwards and lays down rules about her behaviour. Living together, he backs her without saying anything when someone treats her badly, and the day she takes off her wedding ring he goes to pieces. They fall for each other by degrees. There is someone Song Nanqiu has kept in her heart, and Jiang Yanzhi cannot get past it. He spends his nights jealous of a person he has never identified. At the end he finds out who it is.
