Ella Dawson, an award-winning film actress, was photographed in a way that made her look like the other woman in a married man's affair, and the story spread. To kill it she needed a husband. In one of the paparazzi frames there was a fisherman standing at the edge of the shot, Cody Parker, from Stargazer Village, and she went there and offered him a marriage on paper. Cody had moved to the village six months earlier and had told nobody where he came from. Ella arrived calling herself a genius of acting and proceeded to upend the daily routine of a place that had none of her habits. The villagers looked after her. She came to like Cody for the way he behaved, and he liked that she meant what she said, and the arrangement stopped being an arrangement.
