Synopsis

Hagen Falk lives away from other people inside the Three Gorges, with two disciples, Colin and Julia. Vanessa Fontaine runs a company and has been pushed by her family to marry. She falls down a ravine and lands in the same hidden place. There are beasts in the Three Gorges, held back by a formation that runs on spirit stones, and more stones are needed. The four of them travel to the city to get them, and once they are there they are drawn into a conspiracy.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
