Crashing Into Forever

Victor Carter wants his old life back. He was heir to the Carter fortune and a top-ranked racing driver until a collision during a race left both legs paralyzed, after which he shut himself in and refused company. Elena Morgan is hired as his live-in caregiver, said to be the best in the business. He tries to get rid of her and she works around him every time. His cousin uses the accident to take the position of heir, takes Victor's fiancee as well, and comes to the house to say so. Elena speaks up for Victor, and he begins to warm to her. Elena's stepmother, Wang Jihong, plans to sell her off to clear her brother's debts, and Victor gets there in time to stop it. Victor then finds out that Elena forged her resume and got the job by lying about her record. He says nothing, guessing she had a reason. Elena's relative Xie Xiaoxing, acting on the cousin's instructions, comes to provoke him and nearly gets Victor hurt. Elena sees that he has not put the crash behind him and takes him back to the circuit, and while they are there she starts to think there was more to the accident than a collision.
