Uma comes back to the city after three years away, with a plan to take revenge. She looks sweet and doll-like and is sharp-tongued and calculating underneath. She was the eldest daughter of the North family until her stepmother and her stepsister set her up and had her thrown out of the house. She was a boxing champion in those three years, and worked as a mercenary. She uses both while she works out what happened to her birth mother, and what Willa did to her, and while she takes back the family money. Along the way she meets Terry, heir to the SJ Group. They test each other before they work together, and what they turn up runs through both families.
