Synopsis
Hope was born with a prediction hanging over her that she carried bad luck, and her family gave her up. A Taoist priest on Shanyuan mountain, Master Goodfellow, took her in and raised her. At five she came down from the mountain to look for the family she was fated to join. The only household willing to take her was the Harris family, poor and down on their luck. After they took her in, their fortunes began to turn and the things they wished for started coming to them.
