Tracing the Path Home

Wilson Jarrett had run the Jarrett Group, and when his adopted daughter brought him to the family house his own children took him for a con man after their money. On the day he took the company over he was attacked, and what the beating did to his head left him without his memory and slow in his thinking. A girl with no family of her own found him and looked after him for years before she took him back. The family saw a poor man who could not hold a conversation and would not have him. They insulted him, beat him, and pushed him down a flight of stairs. The fall brought his memory back. His sister held a position in the family that his return put at risk, and she forged the results of the paternity test and had his adopted daughter and his mother taken.
