I Don't Need a Husband

Serena Smith has played the docile wife through her marriage. She is in fact the heir to the Smith empire. Her husband has been seeing her cousin Raina behind her back, and Raina is pregnant. Serena finds this out on the day her own IVF is confirmed, when she comes across the two of them at the hospital for Raina's prenatal check. While she stands there she hears a voice from her belly. It is the baby, and it shows her a previous life in which she forgave her husband to hold the family together and the two of them wore her down to nothing. This time Serena decides her husband will leave the marriage with nothing and she will raise the child alone. She collects proof of the affair, freezes his assets, and files for divorce before he gets home, then leaves with his money. The baby then tells her that its father is the head of the largest financial group abroad. Serena hears it out and does not change her plans.
