Rowan Collins's fiancée framed him and he went to prison. There he met three men who were masters at cards. On the day of his release the three of them put him through three tests, and he passed and won their recognition. As he walked out of the gate a woman who introduced herself as his sister-in-law took him away. He learned that he had a twin brother, Vincent Collins, a gambling king he had never met, that Vincent had been set up, and that Vincent's business was about to collapse. Rowan took over Vincent's identity. He swore that he would see gambling ended for good, and went after the people responsible. Rivals came after him, and he had to outplay every one of them.
