Did You Just Poison Me, Wife?

Daniel wakes up in another man's body in the last years of the Daqian dynasty, and his wife has just poisoned him. The body belonged to a gambler. Daniel finds himself bound to something called the Daily Intelligence System, which hands him one piece of useful information a day. He uses it to dig wild ginseng, to hunt, and to get the better of the village bully, and the household slowly starts to have money. He treats his wife well and keeps the family out of trouble. When war breaks out on the border he builds modern firearms from what he remembers, the fighting turns, and the court gives him office and a title. A rift in time later pulls him away from his wife.
