Synopsis
The fighting inside Ethan Smith's family runs through his whole life and in the end it kills him. By then he holds the title of youngest scientist on Earth, which does nothing for him at home. He gets a second life. He keeps his distance from the family he was born into and lives for himself, and he does not give way the way he used to. He sets out to prove what he can do to his deskmate and to his family, then to the teachers and students at his school, and then to the country and the world.
