Synopsis

The hero's mother needs saving, and the way to her runs through one danger after another. He was born with superpowers, and a period of cultivation makes them stronger. He deals first with the villains who used to bully him, and he gets rid of every one of them. Then he goes to save his mother. A rebellion rises around the same time, and he gathers the strength of his people against it.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
