Time Travel: Her Majesty’s MVP!

Leonard grew up in the countryside and worked an ordinary job in the city. On a single day he was fired and put out of his rented room. Afterward a watch came into his possession, and the watch moved him between the present day and an old empire. He carried modern goods and modern knowledge back with him. The empire owed a reparation payment it could not meet, and Leonard settled the crisis. The Northern Qi court pressed the empire with provocations, and Leonard turned the provocations back. He went against the Prime Minister in open court. The princess was married to him, and the empress began watching him. He kept the watch and its workings secret from the court while moving between the two periods. He backed the empress in her move for power, and in the modern day he settled accounts with the people who had put him out.
