I Saved My Crime Lord Ex... Now What?

Six years ago a man decided that his daughter was not going to stay with the boy she was seeing, and he put a stop to it. The daughter was Chloe Summers, a student at the time, and the boy was Vincent Cole. Vincent gave in to the father. He told Chloe he had fallen for someone else so that she could walk away clean, and she went, believing him. Six years later Chloe is a surgeon at the top of her field. Vincent is a crime boss now, and people are afraid of him. He is badly hurt in an accident, and Chloe is the doctor who saves him, without knowing who she is working on. That is how they meet again. He begins protecting her without telling her, clearing away whatever gets in her path. She loves him still, but what she thinks he did to her six years earlier stays between them.
