Love Intertwined with Hate

Daniel's Residence had two daughters, Emma born to a maid and Ava born to the wife. On the day Emma's mother died, the household put Emma out over her birth. Prime Minister Lucas came past, paid for the burial and took Emma in with him. She became one of his maids and fell in love with him. Lucas was engaged to Ava. He went off a cliff in an accident and lost the use of both legs, and Ava refused the marriage and left. Emma stayed on in the house as a maid and looked after him. What she wanted was to be some warmth in the place. Lucas went on thinking about Ava. When Ava came back he hurt Emma badly enough that she decided to shave her head and take vows.
