The Ideal Match

Ji Yunjia and Song Jiming were put together by their two families, which were of comparable standing and had been expecting the match. Neither of them refused it. They married and took separate bedrooms from the first night. The household ran on that arrangement. They collided over small domestic matters. There was a night when both had been drinking and they leaned on each other. In practical things each began giving way to the other.
