Synopsis

In 2006, basketball champion Marcel "The Sniper" Wallace loses his wife to a hitman hired by his rival Tyler Murray and disappears into a fast-food job for twenty years. When he returns as a coach, he discovers that the league star he must train is his resentful son, Mars. Marcel proves himself with impossible shots, but Murray escalates to kidnapping and blackmail. At the Hall of Fame, Marcel reveals his identity and Murray confesses to the murder. The real victory comes when Mars accepts twenty birthday letters his father never sent—and finally embraces him.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
