Synopsis
Ethan is carrying a dead man's ashes home to hand them over. The man served in his unit and was killed. That is all he is doing when a local sheriff stops him on the way, decides he is a homeless vagrant, and takes him in for questioning. At the station they humiliate him and work him over. Ethan takes it, because fighting back means losing hold of the ashes, and the ashes are the reason he is there at all. Then the sheriff goes past the beating and desecrates them. Ethan was in the army and had men under him. One of those men runs the FBI now, and he turns up at the station.
